Future Generations China at Vantone Christmas Party

On the 22nd of December 2012, the director of Future Generations China, Mr. Norbu and other staff members were invited to participate in the “Vantone Center& Returnee Association Christmas Party”, held in Hangzhou Experience Center. Approximately 150 young returnees and business elites went to the Christmas party.

Vantone Pro Bono for Future Generations China

Recently, Pro Bono raised by Beijing HUIZEREN Consulting Service Center has been established in Future Generations China. The wave of Pro Bono has been prevailing in western countries, which provides volunteer services with technology and experience and greatly pushes forward social creativity and the construction of social capital. This activity was the service provision of marketing by 10 Vantone Real Estate volunteers. They brought business experience into NGO's as assistance that could be regarded as a successful trial.

 

Warm Quilts for Yunnan Earthquake Disaster Area

At 11:19 a.m. September 7th 2012, an earthquake, with a magnitude of 5.7, struck on the border between Yiliang County, Shaotong City, Yunnan Province and Weining Autonomous County of Yi, Hui and Miao nationalities, Bijie District, Guizhou Province.  At 12:16 a.m., another earthquake, in magnitude 5.6, occurred in Yiliang County. By 2:00 p.m. Sep. 8th, 2012, about 744,000 people, 183,000 families were affected and the direct economic losses are estimated at 3.704 billion yuan.

The first China Charity Project Contest is an essential part of the first China charity project exchange exhibition. The contest was organized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the National Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Guangdong provincial government and the Shenzhen municipal government. It is also helped by Shenzhen Civil Affairs Department, Shenzhen Radio and Television Group, Society and Law Channel of CCTV, Southern Metropolitan Daily and Shenzhen Public Welfare Foundation.
